About the Owner
Steven has been succeeding in the fitness industry since September 1999. He has worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Manager at two major health clubs. Steven’s passion now lies in his privately owned studio – Fitness Your Weigh – opened in April 2007 in Groton, MA. In April of 2017, Steven and his staff of dedicated professionals moved into a larger. custom built space in Pepperell, MA to grow with their increasing clientele. He and his wife Melissa are the proud parents of two lovely daughters, one born in March 2008 and the other in June 2010.

About Our Trainers
Kerry is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Master Trainer and a TRX Certified Trainer. She found her way into this second career after struggling with weight gain, yo-yo dieting and exercise for as long as she can remember. She decided to get scientific about these challenges and learn the best methods for creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her personal experience and studies in weight loss through nutrition and exercise equip her to empower all her clients to look and feel their best. Kerry’s specialty in corrective exercise also helps clients stay in tip-top shape and avoid injury. She and her husband Damien have lived in Groton since they were newlyweds and have two wonderful daughters. Kerry has been a key part of the Fitness Your Weigh Team since December 30, 2010.

Laura is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Trainer. Laura was a long time client of Steve’s at Fitness Your Weigh before deciding to turn her passion for fitness into a second career. Her primary job is teaching history to seventh graders. Throughout the past few years, she has become more and more dedicated to her own personal health, which has spurred her desire to help others to also become more fit and healthier. She is excited to spend time at FYW part-time during the school year and take on more responsibility during the summers.

Jessica Brownfeld is a recent Groton, MA transplant from New York City. She is a certified yoga instructor and group fitness instructor. She has been teaching yoga for almost nine years, and she has taught people of all ages and experience levels. In addition to yoga and group fitness, Jessica is certified in Ballet Barre Conditioning and Mad Dogg Spinning, and she is trained in Beachbody’s PiYo and various SilverSneakers formats. In all class formats, Jessica works to help participants feel strong, grounded, and rejuvenated.
Jessica is also a certified health coach who is trained in exercise program design, nutritional programming, and behavioral modification techniques. She works with clients to help them identify and achieve their goals. She is available for consultation and will appear at our workshops and special events.
